On November 20, 2015, the violin version of Prelude 1 was premiered by violinist Pedro Gonzales Fernandez at the CNSMD de Lyon. The concert was part of the “Passerelles” project: a series of concerts sponsored by GRAME and the CNSMD to celebrate the “Année France-Corée 2015-2016”.

2015 MANCA Festival
On Nov. 19, 2015, two of Richard Dudas’ electroacoustic works – Prelude No. 1 and No. 2 for clarinet and computer – were performed at the MANCA Festival in Nice, France, on a series of concerts with student performers from the Conservatoire National à Rayonnement Régional de Nice. The first was performed by clarinetist Romane Picheral, and the second by clarinetist Beatriz Polanco Ferrero. The electroacoustic diffusion for both pieces was performed by Sheng Yang.
Prelude No. 2 at the 2015 Taiwan Sonic Arts Festival
On Feb 28, 2015 clarinetist I-chun Chen performed an updated version of Prelude No. 2 at the 2015 Taiwan Sonic Arts Festival at the Dream Land Concert Hall in Tainan, Taiwan, as part of a festival co-organized with the Japanese Society for Sonic Arts (JSSA).
Rah Sewon Viola Recital
On December 12, 2014, violist Rah Sewon premiered the viola version of Prelude No. 1 on a solo recital at Ilshin Hall in Seoul.
Moments Musicaux at the Jinju Music Festival
On October 11, 2014, pianist So-Won Hwang performed Richard Dudas’ Moments Musicaux in a version for amplified piano on a concert as part of the Jinju Music Festival in Jinju, South Korea. The performance was part of a concert featuring pieces for piano, percussion and technology.
2014 ICMC
Richard Dudas’ participation in the 2014 International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) in Athens, Greece included both a musical work and a scholarly paper. On Sept 17, 2014, percussionist Patti Cudd performed Prelude for Percussion and Computer at the conference’s late night concert venue – the National Bank of Greece’s Old Bourse building. The following day, Dudas and clarinettist Pete Furniss presented their co-authored paper, “Transcription, Adaptation and Maintenance in Live Electronic Performance with Acoustic Instruments,” at the conference’s afternoon poster session.
Prelude No.1 at the Dialogues Festival in Edinburgh
On April 18, 2014 clarinetist Pete Furniss performed Richard Dudas’ Prelude No. 1 in a new, updated version for clarinet and computer at the 2014 Dialogues Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. The concert is part of the festival’s Late Lab concert series taking places at the Informatics Forum and also includes performances by Jean-François Laporte and Jess Aslan.
Prelude No. 1 at Future Music Oregon
On March 8, 2014, flautist Sarah Pyle and composer Jeffrey Stolet performed Richard Dudas’ Prelude No. 1 on a concert as part of the Future Music Oregon series at the Thelma Schnitzer Hall of the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance.
2012 WOCMAT
In November 2012, Dudas was an invited speaker at the International Workshop on Computer Music and Audio Technology (WOCMAT) in Hsinchu, Taiwan, where, in addition to a seminar on score following techniques in Max/MSP entitled Performer-Computer Interaction: Score Following and Concert Patch Design, his composition Prelude and Fantasy for Alto Flute and Computer was performed by flautist I-Ju Chen, on the November 30 evening concert.
2011 ICMC
On July 31, 2011, Dudas’ Prelude and Fantasy for Alto Flute and Computer was given its European première on the opening concert of the 2011 International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) in Huddersfield, UK, by flautist Helen Whitaker.
